You Got This! Meditations on Free Will, Choices, & The Path We Choose to Walk

Sometimes I find myself obsessed with thoughts on fatalism and predestination, versus those who will loudly proclaim that we are free individuals with free will. Perhaps, life is a little mix of both, if you consider that despite the little forks in the road, there may be one end goal that we will still find ourselves upon arrival at our future destination… Who knows?

Anyways… I started this blog as a channel for my thoughts and feelings about various things in life I thought valuable, in addition to being a portfolio to show my writing style and tone of voice.

Since I am someone who has not had the benefit of an easy or comfortable life, I say this… Know that everyone is going through their own life lessons, and perhaps there is no one-size-fits-all solution. There is some bitter sweetness and beauty, on arriving at conclusions after overcoming trials, stumbling through errors, and applying the wisdom gleaned from others hard-earned lessons, if they apply.

All paths are not for everyone. Some paths are forged anew, while many seem content to walk the tried and true. Taking risks and paving a way for yourself, especially if you do not currently see what you envision can be daunting. You will not succeed if you do not try, because of naysayers, Fear, negativity, toxic energy in the forms of people, places, and events, or FEAR.

Courage and determination, with a defined clear vision of an end goal is necessary…This is what you must take with you in order to take a step forward in a direction. You must act despite fear. You will challenge your spirit, solidify your values, and transform your life with the lessons you will surely take away from whatever you experience if you keep your mind, eyes, and ears open.

True faith in yourself, despite everything else will prove many ideas presented to your true, false, or not applicable to your struggles in life. Do not despair. Take life one day at a time, step-by-step, and build a foundation that will nourish your mind, your life, and your energy beyond taking shortcuts and short-term gratification.
