Building on the 1% Formula: The Power of Transformation When You Make Room for Growth

No matter your current circumstances and the fact that we can only control ourselves, there is one thing we can seek to do throughout our life to enrich and nurture our character and capabilities. We all have the ability to make room to learn new things. No matter how small the bracket of time we can manage to set aside within the 24 hours of our day, we can make use of that time to create growth.

Setting aside as little as 5 minutes of day to read up on a new foreign concept, discover a new app, listen to a new song, or engaging a stranger in conversation can open up new doors and windows of opportunities. Hindsight is 20/20, and it is in taking risks and making time to experience people and things, to seek to amass knowledge, that we find the wisdom gained makes connections from each moment in our life.

  • Purposefully going out into the world and making time for our personal self-development, to improve by just 1% a few minutes of each day will make a world of difference.

How can you engage information, people, places, and activities with a mindfulness that will expand on your personal knowledge base, enrich your mind and coffers, plus strengthen your character and natural abilities?
